More singers wanted!

Hi folks,

We're now in preperation for our 2011 Sydney Fringe Festival shows happening in September but we still need a strong soprano, a mezzo and a bass or baritone. If you're a singer or know one who wouldn't mind rocking out in front of an audience, contact Linda (our Director) at lindacalgaro@aapt.net.au and she will send you details about what happens next.

ROCKTAPUS! Gig coming up 1 April - No Joke!

ROCKTAPUS! are proudly doing a few numbers at Creative Conscience 2011, a charity art event that aims to raise funds for the most deserving Sir David Martin Foundation which helps young people in crisis.

The 'When'- Friday 1st April, 6pm until 9pm
The 'Where' - Queen Street Studios, 10-14 Kensington Street, Chippendale.

Tickets are on sale now (click this to book). $50 includes entry to the event, unlimited drinkies (booze & soft drinks) and solids (gourmet pies and other nibbles).
There'll be art work on sale as well. You may even be able to buy ROCKTAPUS! to sing at your nanna's sixtieth. Bring your wallet & see youse there!

Join ROCKTAPUS! in 2011

ROCKTAPUS! are auditioning a couple more singers to join the stupidity in 2011.
Hopefully by now you've seen us or know what we're about, so if you're a singer or know of a soprano, alto, tenor or baritone, please contact Linda (our Director) at lindacalgaro@aapt.net.au and she will send you details about what happens next.

What do you need?

• An ability to rock-out,
• a generous sense of humour
• a dash of nerdiness
• previous experience as a performer and singer
• ability to commit to weekly Sunday afternoon rehearsals 4.00pm-6.30 pm in Leichhardt
• time to practice at home and prep for rehearsals.

Hi Puss fans,

Just a quick notification that our 10pm Sydney Fringe Festival show has now been moved to an earlier timeslot of 8pm. So now you can enjoy the show and get home in enough time to have a good snooze, ready for the working week, or stay and party hard with us!

Remember, 8PM not 10pm Sunday 19th Sept, at Notes in Enmore (opposite Enmore theatre). Still just $20.
